The 2012 Hunting Season is closed.  Please stay alert for announcements regarding the 2013 Hunting Season at Fort Phil Kearny as Fall 2013 approaches.

Fort Phil Kearny State Historic Site offers access to a Hunter Management Area.  Written permission to hunt is required to hunt Fort Phil Kearny and can be obtained by visiting the Interpretive Center during visiting hours (Wednesday – Sunday 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.).  If an in-person visit to the Interpretive Center during visiting hours is not possible, please call (307) 684-7629 to make prior arrangements; mail-in or call-in permission slips can be granted with advance notice.
