Fort Phil Kearny Historic Site
Wyoming State Historic Site, National Historic Landmark and Interpretive Center
Fort Phil Kearny Bozeman Trail Association is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to preserve, develop and promote historical sites at Fort Phil Kearny and along the Bozeman Trail. We work closely with the State agency that owns the FPK sites and cooperate with other state, federal and local agencies and organizations, and with educational organizations. We also make a strong effort to accommodate Indian history, culture and interpretation. Educating school groups and the general public about the Bozeman Trail, and all historic sites along the Bozeman Trail, is a priority for the Association.

Fort Phil Kearny / Bozeman Trail Association is unlike most support groups in that we are independent, and although we function primarily as a support group in our relationship with the State of Wyoming, we are allowed to broaden our activities, due to our defined mission in our approved 501(c)(3) application, to any and all historic sites along the Bozeman Trail, irregardless of State borders, and are allowed a very broad range, to anything relating to the story of FPK and the Bozeman Trail.
